fuck i'm cool.. look how cool my classroom has become since i've been in it. but what's even better than my display? MY KIDS ART WORK!!! "we are learning to use koru patterns to represent people in our family" they had to discuss the way that symbols can be used to represent ideas in an art work, talk about the composition, materials and techniques used to create their piece of art AND they had to contribute to class critiques, justify their choices, show people are related through layout and colour choice, leave no white spaces in their work. (might i add they're 7 & 8 yr olds)...
