LUVIN' THE LIBRARY

so i got my read on today as i had nothing else to do that was important. i just needed a break from school stuff you know? i was gonna stay in bed, but i felt like reading. so i decided to get up and go to the library to chillax. i got a random txt from one of the girls-

"what are you up to mate?"

"i'm the library. no reason in particular, just felt like reading and i heard it was a good place for a book lolz"

"ok. just seeing what everyone was up to and you win for most boring reply."

i friggin' LOVE the library hahaha! not enough people my age know how to, or even try, to utilize it for all its goodness! usually they go when a deadline looms for an assignment and they've gotta get it done. that's the only time the youngn'z go. and even tho' good times are had by all, no one likes to admit it, scared to be labled a "nerd" or a "geek".

anyways, i love our library in particular. because compared to other libraries in cities i've visited (which are really crap), is is beautiful. (no really- i'm serious!) the architecture is all good, the interior design is pleasing, the furniture is not only pretty, but comfy too lolz and the technology within the library is all good!

i especially love the huge windows that let natural light flood every inch of space on each floor.

so, back to the books i selected today...

shapeshifter by hone tuwhare (one of NZ most popular and best known poets) it's a collection of his works.

from totems to hip-hop: a multicultural anthology of poetry across the americas, 1900 - 2002 edited by ishmael reed

moloka'i: a novel by alan brennert

and oxford love quotations (don't ask! lmao) it's for the hopeless romantic in me that i refuse to admit to dahaha
