DOWN WITH LOVE...

yes, as in that is what's in the dvd player at the moment. hahaha

i miss school. i really do. i miss the social part. hanging out with everyone, stressing about the same thing, looking foward to when it's all over. and now that it is, i've got nothing to do!

i need a job. (like, seriously.)

today i was bored as, so i decided to go to the library. got some mindless reads out (because i really didn't know what i felt like. except i knew i didn't want to think all too much.)

so anyways, one of the books i've gotten out is called the fashionista files - adventures in four-inch heels and faux pas (by melissa de la cruz and karen robinovitz).

it's meant to be a guide for your 'inner fashionista' blah blah blah. as i was reading through it i was like, why do i need tips on how to "walk the walk, talk the talk and customise that fabulous vintage find"? i am already living this "how to" book hahaha

- she's the girl who mixes cheap no-name kmart & thrift store finds with high designs

- she puts herself together with ease

- she day dreams about how to mix and match her clothing in new, innovative ways

- she understands that an outfit just isn't an outfit without the right pair of shoes

- she knows stepping beyond the line is also part of the lifestyle

- if people have snide comments, she takes it in her stride & doesn't let it bother her (some people are intimidated about fashion - she's NOT one of them!)

- she prides herself on details, notciing everything

check, check, check, check, check...

i mean, who else do you know that rocks chanel pearls with satin air force premiums? (especially in a town filled with girls that think cleo and cosmo are 'high fashion' magazines'... ewww yuck)

anyways, the fashionista book listed 'down with love' in their 'fashionista film archive' section. i've had the dvd for years but never watched it. and here i am. 28 minutes into it and enjoying it so far.

now what am i going to do tomorrow?! hahahaha
