this is the view from my hotel window. winter is so gay. everything is sooo dreary looking. i find it hard to wake up in the morning because it's so dark. it's so weird that hanoi and ho chi minh city are both in vietnam, 'coz they seem worlds apart. government is here though, so that really does make a difference. can you believe the tv channels are different here?! lolz it's like wellington having a more limited choice than auckland because the prime minister lives there lolz.
