i downloaded the entire jem & the holograms cartoon series and i've begun to watch it while eating my breakfast in the mornings, or else last thing at night with my friend boy in bed. (yes, he is subject to being forced to watch haha)
you can't help but realise how much things influence you as you mindlessly watched tv as a kid. in this case, as i watch episodes of jem, i can't help but totally love some of the hair and outfits.. so much so that i even turned around to my friend boy and said "do you know what the best thing about this is? .. i actually have the money to go out and find pieces to dress like that and there's no-one [mum] to tell me i'm not allowed to." hahahaha
my friend boy was quick to point out that i definitely picked up the fashion part but i didn't pick up the singing part of the cartoon lolz (poor dude). i am still terrible at singing and dancing (he now understands why i dance like a retard, even when i try not to- it began way back in the early 90's..)
kimbers 3/4 pants, pink ruffle shirt & white blazer combo gets me every time..
