so, this weekend jae is coming down with her gorgeous baby girl and her man. we've emailed once to say "yay i'm looking forward to seeing you" but deep down, i'm not. why? coz since high school alot has changed. the first years out of school & in uni we were so tight. like sisters. but her real sister, is a bitch. no really. she is! anyways, when she got with her baby's daddy i was happy for her & then moved to his home town to be near him. but then, he was a real asshole to her. and she'd email me saying how miserable she was, i almost thought i had gotten through to her, and sent her the longest email about how much i always didn't like him haha. she was about to pack her bags and return home. but found out she was pregnant, so she stayed.
that was the fork in the road of our friendship. i had just sent her a novel about why the man she was about to be with for the rest of her days was not good enough and i never approved of him. i felt so stink hahaha and since then, she has kept her distance. understandable i guess.
so yup, i'll be seeing her this weekend and her sister is coming too. she recently moved up to the big city and is officially a "big city girl" with an even bigger attitude to match. i wasn't gonna go to the 21st, but since my TTL ladiez are coming, i know it will be a good night. but still difficult with tense moments when i'm tryna act like things never changed between me and jae. she drinks bourbon&cola mixes and i drink top shelf vodka. somethings just don't always work out.
