in the warmth of the afternoon sunlight, i sit and wait for you. i'm wondering what you are doing right now- in this exact moment of time and wish that you were with me instead. i wonder what's going through your mind right at this instant and wonder who you're thinking of, the way i'm thinking of you. i wish i could ease any pain you're going through, and eliminate any worries that are on your mind. not with words, but with an embrace and a soft kiss. a gentle touch, and a smile.
until then, when it's my role and duty to officially do these things for you, i sit. i sit and wait. i wait for you. i wait in patience for the universe to bring us together. i've done my part, i've put it out there to the universe that i want you in my life. now i'm waiting for you to do yours. and accept that you want me in yours.
broaden your horizons and don't be afraid of what everyone is going to say. i'll be good for your heart and soul and you'll be the same for mine. and you'll wonder to yourself, 'what took me so long?'
