MY BABY...

i know what you must be thinking. 'did this chick really study photography for the last 4 years?' 'coz when i look at other photographers and designers blogs their images leave me breathless. but you've gotta understand. i've been a student for the past 4 years, which equals 'broke ass' (lmao) so i haven't had the finances to aquire the equipment. (instead of saving up i've travelled, gotten drunk, partied, bought expensive clothes, designer bags, eaten out frequently, etc etc etc) hahahaha

this is my baby. a lil' nikon coolpix S50.

does that answer you questions as to why my photos are more 'snap-shot' like? lolz mine doesn't look that new anymore, and it has a, ummm 'special feature' that no others i've seen has. you can see the internal organs of my digi cam. lolz (the side came off) but it still does what it's meant to do- 'capture the moment'... 'paint with light'... 'expose my drunk friends'... hahahaha

so even tho i sometimes wish for a telephoto lens, or a fish eye lens, or want to change the depth of field, experiment with shutter speeds etc, i make do with what i've got and experiment with how far i can push it, or how far i can push myself within the limitations it gives me. challenges are good, even tho i know i could get more fabulous photos on a manual camera, i'm still quite in love with this one.

until i stop travelling, getting drunk, partying, buying expensive clothes, designer bags, and eating out frequently etc etc etc, i won't get an SLR with a zillion gorgeous lens any time soon lolz
